It started with a simple refusal.
In 2006, XTAR began as a small trading company in Shenzhen. At the time, only 60% of incoming materials met our standards. Most companies would have accepted that. We didn't.
We inspected every single unit. Full inspection, zero compromise. Finally, we improved our product pass rate to an amazing 99.7%. It cost us margin. It cost us speed. But it earned us something far more valuable: trust.
By 2009, that trust led to a challenge no one else could solve. A distributor needed a 2,000-lumen dive light powered by six 18650 cells. The problem? No charger on Earth could handle that load. So we built one. The WP6 charger and D30 dive light were born — and so was XTAR's R&D team.
