XTAR VC4L charger is the upgrade version of VC4. It is a LCD battery charger overall. It charges 3.6 or 3.7V Li-ion batteries from 10440 to 32650 size, and 1.2V Ni-Mh or NiCD batteries from AAAA to D size. And it can even charge the protected 21700 batteries. It uses the popular USB Type-C port, and provides charging current 0.5A x 4 and 1A x 2. The LCD screen displays the charging current, battery voltage, charged capacity, battery types and channels. While the XTAR VC4S charger is not only a fast charger but also a battery analyzer. It supports QC3.0 fast charging, max charging current reaches 3A for a single slot. The LCD screen displays battery internal resistance. What’s more, it can test your batteries’ real capacity, and prelong your battery life with storage mode.
Both XTAR VC4L and VC4S kept the tradition of XTAR chargers, i.e. the function of activating dead batteries and soft start charging. Also they provides multiple protections for over-voltage, over-charge, and short circuit etc,.
The XTAR VC4S is more functional, but relatively, it is more expensive than XTAR VC4L. So, which one should you choose? It depends on your needs.
