XTAR FC2 – A Basic 2-Bay Li-ion & NiMH Battery Charger

In the best charger choice, not all the people like the expensive chargers with all the “bells and whistles”. And some users may not need a fancy LCD display screen. In that case, the brand new charger released by XTAR – FC2 would be a better choice for you.
XTAR FC2 has a wide compatibility. It can charge not only 3.6/3.7V Li-ion batteries but aso 1.2V NiMH and NiCD batteries. The available battery sizes could be from the small 10440, 14500 and 16340 to the long 18650, 21700 and 26650.
The longest battery it can charge is 75mm. That means it can charge protected 21700 batteries. Therefore, XTAR FC2 is the only one that can charge both Li-ion and NiMH, as well as protected 21700 cells in XTAR MC series. It would be a good match for flashlight.
For some users who want to control charging current by themselves, XTAR FC2 has a toggle switch to provide manual selection. There are three levels of charging current – 1 x 2A, 2 x 1A and 2 x 0.5A. When you select the current you want, the corresponding LED indicator will flash in a different way.
The two bays of FC2 are independent. The FC2 will intelligently detect the battery type and use the corresponding charging method. When you install two batteries and select 2A, the FC2 charger will automatically change the charging current to 1A per slot. If you remove one battery, the charging current will recover to 2A for the other battery.
Following the XTAR tradition, FC2 charger also provide the 0V activation function. It will revive your over-discharged batteries automatically when you install them in the charger.
The TC-CC-CV smart charging method and multiple protections for over-charge, over-discharge and short circuit etc., would make sure the charging safety.
The Micro USB input port is compatible with all 5V USB power, including USB wall adapters, solar panels, power banks etc.
